Coronavirus Pandemic
Obviously this has been a difficult time for all concerned. In St Mary's we have had to adjust how we work. Please refer to this link 'Coronavirus - COVID 19' for details.

Please also see the following links to the Health Protections Surveillance Centre and HSE on how to protect yourself and your loved ones over the coming weeks.
For guidance on cocooning to protect people over 70 years of age and those extremely medically vulnerable from Covid 19, please refer to the following link.

You are recommended to get a COVID BOOSTER vaccine if you meet one of the following criteria:

You are THREE MONTHS after the completion of your primary COVID vaccine

If were unvaccinated and developed laboratory confirmed COVID-19 infection, you should complete a primary vaccination course, with the first dose AT LEAST FOUR WEEKS after diagnosis or onset of symptoms.

You were partially vaccinated and develop laboratory confirmed COVID-19 infection then you should complete your primary vaccination course, with the next dose AT LEAST FOUR WEEKS after diagnosis or onset of your symptoms.

You were fully vaccinated and have had breakthrough laboratory confirmed COVID-19 infection then you should delay your booster vaccination for AT LEAST SIX MONTHS

Also, those aged 16 years and older with immunocompromise associated with a suboptimal response to vaccines who have completed a THREE DOSE PRIMARY series, should be given an BOOSTER vaccine after a minimum interval of THREE MONTHS.
